Google rules! There are so many tools available through Google to be explored.
Google Maps, Google Earth, Synonym Search, Dictionary Definitions,Spell Checker. One that I'd never seen before was Google Sites. It's a free and easy way to create your own website.
I've been asked this question numerous times over the years...how to create your own personal website.....I will definitely share this with customers from now on.

Online Productivity Tools
I really appreciated learning more about Google Docs, love the fact that they are free, web-based and available from any computer. I can see using these tools and saving myself money by not purchasing the traditional MS products.
Will be using at home for sure.

Flickr and YouTube
While there is great entertainment value in both Flickr and YouTube ( hours and hours) they are also a bit like crack very addictive, not that I'd know from personal experience.
There is some usefulness to the content of Flickr but I find disturbing that the proprietory rights of the content and photos are held by both sites rather than with the poster.

LibraryThing
I liked LibraryThing because it did have practical applications to use either @ home or work.
I like the feature Wishlist which is handy to track books I'd like to read ( a feature that was lost when we migrated from Dynix). I really appreciated the fact that I could keep track of books I've read, including character names. Very handy to keep track of series.
I also appreciate other features such as reviews, ratings and recommendations.
Would I use it? Definitely at home but I'm not sure I'd have the time at work.
